Accessibility Statement

Last updated: 5 November 2026

Alliance Architects wants everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use assistive technology. We aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.

What we have done

  • Pages use headings, landmarks and labels so they can be navigated with a screen reader.
  • Menus, buttons, project cards and the slideshow controls can be reached and used with a keyboard.
  • Project images have text descriptions naming the project.
  • Animations are turned off for visitors whose device is set to reduce motion.
  • The layout adapts to phones and tablets and works when the page is zoomed.

Known limitations

  • The slideshow on the home page advances on its own. It can be moved with its arrows and progress bars, but it has no separate pause button yet.
  • Gallery images are described by project name only, not by what each image shows.
  • Some text in light grey may have lower contrast than we would like.

We are working to fix these.
