About us

01 — The studio

Alliance Architects is an architectural practice designing commercial, hospitality, institutional and housing projects across North India.

Our work begins with context. Before form, we study the site: its orientation and light, its climate, its edges and the life of the street around it. Buildings emerge from these conditions rather than being imposed on them.

We think in terms of space and sequence: how a building is approached, entered and moved through; how light enters and shade is made; how mass, void and material come together to give a place its character.

Each project is developed from the first sketch to the final detail with clarity of plan, honesty of structure and a commitment to permanence: architecture that serves its users well and endures.

The people behind the work.

Principal architect

Amit Gupta

Architect

Amit Gupta studied architecture at the Chandigarh College of Architecture. He began his practice in 2000, and over more than two decades has shaped a body of work that moves from private homes and interiors to group housing, hospitality, commercial buildings and urban development.

His work begins with the site: its climate, its streets and the people who will live with the building. From the first sketch to the final detail, he pursues architecture that is clear in plan, practical to build and made to last.
